Phantom Helmsmen - Guitarist Steve Gerlach's band previous to joining the Bad Examples. A reunion show was performed in 2006.

MysteryDriver - Steve Gerlach formed this band after leaving the Bad Examples and released one album for the associated Whitehouse Records label. Steve is back playing lead guitar with The Bad Examples along with Tom O'Brien.

Middle 8 - Their first album was produced by Ralph Covert. Drummer Ron Barnes was also the Bad Examples' drummer for the last few years. Bassist and co-lead vocalist Brian Sheridan is the mainstay anchor of the Ralph's World live band.
