Dear Tommy Shaw fans:
We are currently sold out of Tommy Shaw's "What If" CDs.
There are NO plans by Mr. Shaw or Absolute Records to reprint
more of them at the present time.
For everyone's information, we do NOT have any copies of "What
If," "Girls With Guns" or "Ambition." We do
not know where you can find copies of these albums, though we might
suggest online auction houses like Ebay.com.
While we may NEVER again have copies of the above albums for sale,
we may at some point receive some returns from our distributors. If
you would like to be notified of future availability on these items,
please send your email address to:
waterdog@waterdogmusic.com
You will ONLY be notified by us if we actually HAVE Tommy Shaw CDs.
Due to the high volume of requests, we unfortunately cannot respond
to requests for invididual updates. If anything changes
in the availability of this item, we'll post it here.
Thanks for understanding, and thanks for supporting Tommy Shaw's music!
-The Folks at Waterdog Music
Tommy Shaw is back with
rock supergroup Styx! What If was his second solo album originally
released in 1985. It has been re-sequenced personally by Tommy Shaw,
who also re-mastered the disc with Eddy Schreyer. Shaw also refined
a few tracks so that What If is now as he intended to release
it. The title track was also known as "Remo's Theme" from the movie
"Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins." The song charted in the fall
of '85.
When the album was
released originally, compact disc player penetration was negligible
and the disc was only available as a Japanese import. Now the market
potential is defined by the millions who love Shaw's guitar-playing,
songwriting and singing and have purchased discs of Damn Yankees, and
the Styx collections and re-issues.
