| Legend,
the second CD by Slink Moss & The Flying Aces contains 18 tracks
of their newest material plus rarities and gems from the
vault. Slink Moss is the former leader of The Farmers, the quasi-roots-rock
band that had three albums released on Flying Fish.
Legend
was recorded with Michael Deming (Apples In Stereo, The Lilys),
Elliot Dicks of The Nerves, the late Jim Ellison of Material Issue,
and Jay O'Rourke of The Insiders. The Weatherman from Negativland
also makes an appearance. Legend encompasses rockabilly,
power-pop, surf, alternative, folk, and sound collage.
Slink Moss has previously released one full-lengther, Bones
and an EP, Ghost Train both of which received widespread
critical praise. Originally based in Chicago, Slink now calls New
York City home and performs with his six-piece rock'n'roll orchestra
there and has The Flying Aces for his national touring.
Slink drew the disc cover art and has been published regularly as
a cartoonist in Rocktober and Zisk, the baseball zine. Slink Moss
will be seen in the starring role in the forthcoming film "Ghost
Trip" by acclaimed avant-garde filmmaker Bill Morrison.
Legend is the first joint effort between Rattlesnake Records and
