Word On The Street
Ralph Covert must be one of the busiest guys around. This time he
teamed up with Riley Mills to co-write the play "Sawdust and Spangles," recently
nominated for (count 'em) five Jeff awards! The play is based on the life of
19th century circus showman W.C. Coup and was inspired by one of Covert's songs,
"The
Amazing Romero." The drama includes Covert's fictional character, but not
the song, so I guess you'll have to buy Birthday,
the album on which it appears. For more info contact Rob Gillis at Waterdog
