Just Like the Monkeys

How happy I would be if I could live just like the monkeys
Swing from limb to limb just like a cheerful chimpanzee
We’d live a live of ease my friends and me we’d all be monkeys
Hanging around, hanging around

I wish that I could live just like the monkeys
Wander through the jungle like the monkeys always do
Swing from vine to vine from time to time just like the monkeys do
Hanging around, hanging around

We’d eat bananas and mangos and orange papayas
And sometimes on Sundays we’d eat pizza

We’d play with parrots and lemurs aardvarks and tigers
We wouldn’t need allowance ‘cause we wouldn’t have a mall
